何が起きたかといいますと、
市場に販売されている
ほうれん草に特殊なバクテリアが発見されて、米国ではちょいと騒いでいます。
対象商品は袋に目一杯ほうれん草が詰まっているもの。
その中に"
E coli. 0157:H7"というバクテリアが検出されました。
矢継ぎ早に様々な州で、死者が出たそうです。
クオートの中（""）を見てお解かりになったと思いますが、
そのバクテリアは、
どうやら
O157（オー・イチ・ゴー・ナナ）らしいんですよ。
あの。近年の夏の食中毒の代名詞。
何でいきなりそのバクテリアがひっついて
人体に感染させたのかは良くは分からないんですが、
食品の品質管理を怠った結果なのか、
はたまたそれ以外か…。
独特の味で、
健康に良いと言われているほうれん草ですが、
これを口実に、子供達がほうれん草離れしないことを願うばかりです。
それより何より前に、O157をどうにか滅菌して欲しいですね。
